Don't remember those. But I remember my mother listening to soaps on the radio
while she ironed. "Life of a Bachelor" was one of them -- and of course General
Hospital.

Popcorn balls and pennies used to piss me off.

Never had a go kart. But I drove my 34 Ford while sitting on a milk crate and
pulling the throttle open with a piece of wire.

My fourth grade teacher used to beat the crap out of me.

Every day. School was just a bit more than half a mile from home.

I had a CB in the deuce and a half on which I hauled my Corvette funny car
across the country -- once a month from Chicago to Miami in the winter. The
'Vette was yellow, so my handle was banana boat. "You got that ol' banana boat
out here in the Montfort lane. We got the hammer down and we're sunshine bound."

JFK getting shot sticks more in my mind. I was at the Maxwell Street Open
Market in Chicago. I was in high school, but we had been released early for
some reason.

When the K series Pentax cameras were released, I switched to Fuji, because
they retained the screw mount.

Switchblades that had points.
