I shoot in color, and convert to BW in Photoshop if I think it suits.
I have a Canon Digital Rebel -- and 2 years ago I got an adaptor (thanks to
Cotty) to use my old Pentax primes on it
So I could legitimately claim Pentax equipment for the Annuals.
I had tried a DL early on and didn't like it. Couldn't really , still can't) afford to be spending money loosely on equipment.
So it is my first bw with the D and one of about 40 photos I shot this weekend
with the D and the 24-70 sigma auto exposure
lens that Steve leant me too.
Thanks for the clarification, Ann. I was intrigued because you were shooting
with the *ist D and I have a DS. At present I'm unable to get photos as sharp
as the one you posted of the tree in the park yesterday. I take it that was a
manual focus job?
Nope.... and to me it isn't sharp enough , actually. I used the AF...
I either have to use AF or shoot a f16 and 1/250 all the time with
the lens set for hyperfocal distance. But this one was the Sigma 24-70
zoom on autofocus.
I can't tell if anything is sharp until I get it up in photoshop .
