Went to the local State Wildlife Area again today hoping to get another chance at the Bald Eagle. Didn't find him, but among hawks in every other tree, large concentration of Snow Geese and endless ducks, I happened upon the attached. Has
to be an eagle. Maybe an immature Bald or Golden? My Field Guide wasn't much help. I'm, of course, pleased to have collected these shots and it's satisfying to show them off. Both very heavy crops, but light was good and am not unhappy with the detail caught. Any help identifying them will be much appreciated.
