Darn it - won't be able to get up there in time.  I also like his work
alot.   I didn't realise he had passed away though.  Quite the
character. Also wrote a good story - I distinctly remember reading
articles he wrote for Sports Car World through the late 70's and 80's
with quite some enjoyment.
