Really, the difference in resolution between 15MP and 25MP is pretty
amazing.

Yeah, but what do identical digital files (same ISO, exposure, subject) from
each camera look like when printed on the same printer?


Compared to Pentax the Sony loses in a few areas:
DOF preview mechanism is very awkward compared to Pentax
Lens mount button is very inconveniently located
No blinkies or superimposed histogram over instant review

Where the Sony is better:
Mechanical knob for shooting mode with 3 pre-sets is awesome
Pre-sets will control AF/MF setting (yay!)
Viewfinder is huge and bright
Exposure comp is more convenient to use
Quick access to ISO/WB/Drive/Exposure comp
