Mark! I don't expect me to have to print bigger than A3 any time soon.
But it's also good to be able to crop images significantly and still make good prints. It's wonderful to be able to make a panorama by cropping from a single shot and still have an image 6000 pixels wide! (Or make a bigger panorama from combining just 2 or 3 shots instead of 6 or 7)
Like I said, you surely knew what you were doing and made an excellent choice.
