Hi Boris, It's easier to shoot on press day at an auto show, because other photogs and journalists are accommodating, and there aren't so darn many of them. (Although the Detroit show is one of the majors, and it draws a lot of press -- several thousand from all over the world.)
I like the Kia KV7 van as well, and Kia has said there will be a production version. But it almost certainly won't have the gullwing doors and may not have the rotating seats. If it does, they'll lock in a forward facing position while underway. Safety regulations don't allow for much variation. Here's my blog entry on the Kia van and some more pics, one from the press kit and one from Fabrizio, the pro shooter that the Times employed for the show (lousy crop on his pic, but that was probably the work of an editor): http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/01/11/kia-tunes-in-to-that-70s-show-with-kv7-concept/ On Jan 12, 2011, at 1:13 PM, Boris Liberman wrote: > On 1/12/2011 4:52 PM, Paul Stenquist wrote: >> They're here: >> >> http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=993835 > > Fascinating.
