Jack,
Several years ago I played with a Glen Miller band from Logan, Utah
that participated in the yearly Glen Miller Festival. Do you know if
that festival is still going on?

I grew up in Iowa, but this doesn't appear to be my "neck of the
woods." My home town is Clarinda, located in Page Co. in the extreme
south west corner of the state. The corn is the only familiar element
of your images. ;)

I am a long time Pentax type user although my film days

Ricoh with spare lens from Sears JC Penny and Spiratone..

love any comments you might have. And if this post appears
in the
digest I may comment on the work of others I see on this
group. But
there is so much content here and and I may not keep up.
As far as I know there are no cormarants in Iowa but I'm
not much of
birder anyway.
And re: the survey someone was taking I like to say I am
the mid 60's
but it's about -8F here today.
Hoping this makes me full time member now. :)
