I have been a member of this group for over a year and I have enjoyed
the repartee and the humor and most of all the photo links . I have
not posted here but not for lack of trying. It just took me this long
to figure out that I need to use plain text and then remember to tell
the mail program that's what I want.
I am a long time Pentax type user although my film days were on the
Ricoh with spare lens from Sears JC Penny and Spiratone.. When I went
digital SLR (K200D). I even tried them for digital with adaptor.
I post somewhat regularly at http://donspix.posterous.com/ and would
love any comments you might have. And if this post appears in the
digest I may comment on the work of others I see on this group. But
there is so much content here and and I may not keep up.
As far as I know there are no cormarants in Iowa but I'm not much of
birder anyway.
And re: the survey someone was taking I like to say I am the mid 60's
but it's about -8F here today.
Hoping this makes me full time member now. :)
