This is just a snapshot. There is so much more I'd like to do with this idea if I can.
Every night around sunset, it seems that every crow in Minneapolis comes to a four-block area near downtown Minneapolis to roost. I've seen them as I drive by - it's fascinating to watch them all flocking in from everywhere as the sun sets. Thing of it is... they are keenly aware of photographers approaching with tripods. They were quite skittish. What I ended up with was a photo of the 1/3 of them that hadn't left by the time I had set the tripod down http://charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2011/IMGP7621.jpg ..and when I was shooting, I didn't notice they were on the trees further back, so I have some revisiting to do so I can place the camera properly. If there was some way to stabilize the camera for a 15-second exposure without using the tripod, I would. -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [email protected] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
