robocopy is Microsoft's replacement for xcopy; it knocks it into a cocked hat. For XP (& server 2003) it's downloadable as part of the resource kit tools from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9d467a69-57ff-4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en For Vista & 7 it's already included. SyncToy is probably more user friendly though, and had a few more safeguards with respect to deleting files. -- Eric -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
