Yes I do. That's why I wanted to hear the thoughts of photographers that I respect. I expect that this is something everyone does to some extent or other. Some people, however, tend to lean more one direction, some the other. I've noticed that I tend to do a lot more towards isolating my subject, which is why I tend to shoot longer lenses.
