Thanks, My mother-in-law is taking photo courses and by sharing those experiences and borrowing my gear she has kickstarted LBA again. This far I have bought the new 100 macro, 200* and the K-5 (which the delivery service is screwing me over with since Friday). I know I am not done yet for I have a deep void in the ultrawide/fisheye department ever since my 17-28 fisheye became *almost* rectilinear on the APSC cameras.
Currently I am considering Tokina 11-16/2.8 but being generally dissatisfied with the perceived poor performance of wide-angles I am still undecided. The K-5 seems to be a great step forward, compared to the K-7, especially concerning low light/high iso shooting. I like studio work, but actually I hate using a camera flash.
