Motif? Oh yes, but regarding the lens it is quickly taking a well-deserved place in my 31/43/77/100/135 lineup. I really like the FOV and the detail can be mindblowing with the appropriate care (a problem for me because I tend to shoot all my lenses wide open). Mind you before I had it I was getting by with a Sigma 180/3.5 macro and considered it good for my macro purposes. Now I don't think I will be using that one much - especially with the 200* SDM taking over all telephoto work.
