I know, I own a JOBO hot shoe GPS unit. If shutter speeds are faster thank sync 
speed, I just need to press a button to record the coordinates. Not a big deal. 
The software will alsos designate your shots to the nearest actual recordings, 
if not all your images (determined by the time of the shot) have a designated 
GPS reading.
But I'd still buy a GPS unit that will write the GPS data directly into the 
image file - Nikon style. Meaning no after shooting GPS work.
