For these sorts of "on-camera" GPS units, can you the human get useful data out of them real-time, or does it only talk to the camera? If I'm out shooting, and I'm not at a race track (and sometimes if I am), I generally have a hand held GPS unit with me to help my own navigation. So I have the tracks. I don't mind letting a program spend a few minutes branding GPS data from the tracks into the photos.
