On my BlackBerry I can only reply in the space provided. Is it top or bottom posting?
Top posted. The Wikipedia article on Posting Style referenced in the "emoticons. smiles, etc" thread says the Blackberry and other mobile devices encourage top posting because they only download the first part of the message
"The rest of the message is only retrieved when needed, which takes additional download time. Putting the relevant content at the beginning of the message requires less bandwidth, less time, and less scrolling for the Blackberry user."
Plus you're using Gmail, which is one of the mail clients that defaults to top posting.
