Exactly. The "green button" is one of the wonderous things about Pentax DSLRs. The often confusing thing is that buttons on a Pentax can change based upon context (change behavior based upon what you program them to do in the menus and/or the dial settings on the camera. To send you on your Googling way, the main ones you should concern yourself with are called "hyper-manual" and "hyper-program". Some people feel that hyper-program is all you ever need: http://pentaxworld.com/forum/pentax-dslr/why-use-any-other-modes-than-the-hyper-program-mode-(p)-with-the-k10d/ Apparently the K-5 has a new wrinkle in this regard: http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-k-5-forum/123136-finally-pentax-fixed-hyperprogram.html -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
