On 28/2/11, Mark Roberts, discombobulated, unleashed: >Do those ink tanks have a little strip of plastic that must be removed >before use?
Damn you Roberts. Extra length panatella for you. Tis true... After pumping out the ink into the sink, I noticed that the small yellow sticker, complete with the words 'pull here' was flapping idly about.... Stef looked at it and said ' oh yeah, I wondered what that was for'.... The idea is that air is allowed to enter the tank to replace volume sucked out by the ink. We were basically trying to suck a fart out of a dead dingo with it's mouth taped shut. Live and learn eh, Stef knows how to properly install a tank now. And to rub the salt in, he's getting seriously good with the pics. He was printing out some Prague architecture and I'm standing there just whimpering.... Evenin all. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ---------- http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
