For sensor testing purposes, if you shoot the sky, you should set the focus at 
the minimum distance. If you shoot a piece of paper that's two feet in front of 
the lens, you should set the focus at infinity. Set the stop down to at least 
f11. I  tested at f22. You don't have to hold the camera steady.
