You are, of course, correct. That is why I shot a few like that to
get some variety, but did not shoot the whole series like that. My
theory is that to get great shots, you have to risk taking some bad
ones, and to guarantee that not all of the shots are bad, you have to
mix things up a bit, knowing that'll ruin some but others will turn
out.
Think of it as bracketing the composition.
I understand. Well, both you and I know that your approach (more that of
trigger happy combinatorics) and mine (more that of a 'try to make each
shot the winner') are different. Therefore, that K-7 that Galia has been
given has really low shutter activation count.
But your approach is definitely valid. It is just that specifically in
this case, it seems that these very specific compositional solutions
were not to the liking of this very viewer.
