They were all taken with auto focus as I am still learning to do manual
focus. It was also interesting trying to capture them seeing as there were
several limbs and branches and twigs they were hiding behind.

The two Owl shots are soft as in you missed the focus - were these auto
focused or manually done?
The focus point appears to be in front of the subject.
