I tend to sell everything I'm not actively using. It reduces the decisions needed when I actually want to go do a photo shoot: I work with what I have. If what I need isn't what I have, enough times, I can always reacquire or buy a better one later.
I use such long focal length lenses so infrequently it's more sensible for me to rent them when needed.
