Have to agree with Kris, snow is too dark. Through trial, error and histogram I've found that +3 stops of exposure comp is needed for snow dominant shots. Maybe even +4 stops.

I always use +2 on the K-x.
The 1st is dark as it was close to the east side of the house, in its shade.
The 2nd is *maybe* just a bit dim.
The 3rd and 4th look ok to me ...

... and least on my display.  :-)  IBM T43.
