Hi all,

I have an opportunity to practice some self-enablement on a couple
of 6x7 lenses.

 The first is a Takumar 90mm f/2.8. I've been looking for a 90/2.8
since I bought the body about 6 months ago. Is the Takumar lens any
better or worse than the newer design, or does it only differ in its
coatings? I definitely prefer the build of the newer lenses but they
don't come cheap, and they don't appear secondhand very often.

 The second lens is a 300mm f/4. I am told that it's in 9.5/10
condition. I'm still a bit unsure about whether I want a 300mm; I
think I'd prefer a 200mm. The 200 would be a bit easier to shoot
with, and I hear the 300 suffers from a bit of chromatic aberration
near the edges.

Any (serious) advice would be appreciated...

Cheers,
- Dave
