I'm very fond of Lagavulin and most of the other Islay single malts as well. They do have a peat-smoke aroma -- almost as though they were in a fire -- along with a corresponding taste. It's not something that appeals to everyone, but I enjoy it a great deal. Laphroig 10-year-old is even more "peaty" and considerably less expensive as well. Love that stuff. Paul PS: If there's a scotch that has as broad and pretentious a following as Canon and Nikon, it's probably the Chivas Regal blend. > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
