Strictly speaking, the Power Pack M (#37202) is an AC adapter with interval
timer functions, plus recharging of the nicad packs.
I think you are more than likely referring to the rechargeable packs?
Nicad Pack LX is marginally larger and some 40 grammes heavier than Nicad
Pack M. Most importantly, it has a shutter release at one end.
Pack M and Pack LX can be used interchangeably. Pack LX is still available
new.
