Don't worry.  The Super Program has an electro-magnetic shutter release.  You have the 
right cable.

And I don't have any problem changing the Super Program ISO speeds... The K2 is 2 
orders of magnitude harder to change, even when it moves easily! <g>

Which cameras will the Cable Switch A work with? Boz's site says simply, "Cable Switch 
A - cable release for cameras equipped with electromagnetic shutters. Length: 1 meter."

It seems to me that since several other accessories designed for the A-series bodies 
are named "A" it's misleading if the Cable Switch A does not. <<
