The catalog's metadata needs to be updated.

- select "All Photographs" in the Library module, Catalog panel
- Set Grid view
- use the filter bar, Metadata switch, set the first column to "Lens",
and click on "Unknown"
- Select all
- use the "Metadata->Save metadata to file..." command to write out
all keywords and other IPTC metadata to the file system for this set
of files
- use the "Metadata->Read metadata from file..." command to refresh
all the metadata for this set of files

Lightroom will re-read the original files' metadata and the metadata
you output from the catalog this way, integrating and updating all
original image files with the newly incorporated lens names. It will
not refresh the metadata shown by virtual copies, however, so if you
use virtual copies in your workflow you'll still have some "unknown"
lens even for image files which it now knows about.

Of course, if you're persistent, you can fix that too ... ;-)
