Yes, very much so.  I've occasionally had to deal with
email-related problems at work.  It's not something I
particularly enjoy... the only thing I hate more than spam
filters is spam!

If it doesn't include some way for the recipient to say this is
*not* spam; this is something I want to receive, it's not a
filter, it's censorship.

Filtering spam is a huge task for IPs, so many of them delegate it to
a service that specializes in that job. Apparently, when the
spam-filtetring folks find a server that has been used to distribute
spam, they cut it off.  I find that better than the alternative. I
get almost no spam and have only rarely lost contact with valued
communicators.

My unfortunate experience with Road-Runner is they let the spam through and are unwilling to fix the problem when they do block valued communicators instead.

But, my only alternative around here for high speed internet is AT&T-BellSouth, for whom I have more negative feelings than I have for Facebook.

For all their faults, and they are many and varied, I'm sticking with Road-Runner until something better (read that as until someone with competent tech support) comes along.
