Thanks.  It seems to me that there is more to learn about using a flash 
properly than there is to using a camera.  While a flash can make it easier to 
get decent shots, because of there being enough light, it makes it harder to 
get great shots because it's hard to control where that light goes. For those 
of us that toss rather than keep photos that are merely decent, it's easy to 
come to the conclusion that using a flash is for tossers.
