painkiller are for wimps. Are you sure you're not putting up a cover story
to hide the fact that you've had a Paris lip.

I've had my lips stitched up twice, each time without anaesthetics. First
time was at school as a result of not running away from someone. Second time
was when I tripped and landed badly, pushing a front tooth right through the
lip. Killed the tooth.

That 2nd time for me was so painful I didn't notice that I'd also cracked
both wrists. I had to go back to casualty later that same day to get them
sorted out.
