Appreciated remarks, Paul. This was strictly an experiment using Frame-Rate(2) continuous drive. Had been reading some recommendation in the June issue of Outdoor Photographer. As we all know, a high shutter speed is basic in shooting BIF. Obviously, with some subjects, appropriate movement can add to the affect. I'd been setting AF-C to focus priority and experienced a consistent intermittent frame rate with less than expected image detail. I shoot in RAW mode, but realize jpeg will allow a faster frame rate if needed. This shot was a result of my checking out the continuous drive to find if I could improve the captured image detail. I'm not happy with the detail in this image, nor any other in the series. I am, however, very impressed by the extreme detail revealed in 'normal' shooting. Do you agree with my assessment of the detail in this image, Paul? Anyone...anyone? ;)
