I think I'm with Ann on this one--but I think the cropped version is too cropped, but my tendency is always for more context, but that may not be a good thing. :-) Cheers, Christine

Have you considered a more centered crop?

For me, the red newspaper vending machines in the background complemented the red umbrella.

Yes - I agree... but to my surprise I ended up liking the cropped version just as well... The lady with the umbrella is a strong image in itself and I think that no matter how you crop the photo or leave it full frame it works... every thing else is just pile of nits :-)

Whatever Frank likes best works for me
