Hi, I've just read the thread about the new MZ body - I'm a little late, I know, but I was gone for a week of vacation at the seaside:) So here comes another one... It definitely seems like some general change of MZ generations. The info about the camera ( http://digilander.iol.it/aohc/pressrelease/mz60e htm ) seems to be taken from the February edition of the big Polish photo magazine "Foto Kurier", which I haven't read yet but suppose to buy one tomorrow:) My first impression is that the body itself is quite pretty, at least from the front. It has THAT, nice pseudoclassic style. The control panel seems indeed to be a bit angled rearwards. Two interesting changes are: a wheel instead of a toggle switch and lack of that large wheel on the left side of the panel - it seems like it is replaced with some four buttons. As for the specifications... there haven't been many of them presented so far, of course, but it's a definite MZ-50 replacement. My German isn't very good so I can't fully understand the sentence: "MZ-60 heit das nagelneue Einsteigermodell, das ab Frhjahr mittelfristig die MZ-30 ablsen wird" - perhaps some of Germans will explain. Does it mean that the MZ-60 will REPLACE the MZ-30 (which seems unlikely to me) or that it will take the MZ-30's place as the updated entry level camera (which means de facto, that it will replace the MZ-50)? I also wonder if the MZ-60 has that "crippled KAF mount"... Greetz Artur
