I painted with too broad a brush, not all the M's are bad. ( Maybe just the 28/2.8? ) Certainly the 50/1.4M's that I have used and still use were / are plenty good enough. But one 50/1.4A that I had the chance to use ( Paul's that he lent me to test. ) was noticeably better. I haven't worked with enough A's, and shouldn't pass judgement. Mea Culpa.
