I have at least eight or nine different email accounts which need regular checking. Happily, the Mac OS X Mail application and its relatives on the iPad and iPod Touch combine them all into one place, once configured. There's only one access point and all the mail is sorted by time of receipt and threaded by content. I get several hundred messages a day from various sources, most of which are important but only in an "after the fact when something goes wrong" way. The only one that I don't do that with is this one, the gmail interface which I use exclusively for the PDML ... I find the web browser interface for this one is just right. I still write cards and letters, put them in the post, too. There's a very different feel to receiving a card or letter from someone as compared to an email: a card or letter means they took a lot of effort to communicate with you, which is to be respected and honored. :-) -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
