Whatever gives you the best results, raw or JPEG, is what you should use. I use Lightroom to do nearly all my processing. Import the image files, whether JPEG, TIFF, PSD or raw, and it renders them according to whatever my default set-up for a camera might be, plus whatever presets I choose to apply. I then tweak the images individually from there, then export to whatever size and format is required for their use.
