Both excellent photos!
I don't know the flower in the 1st photo but the photo is spectacular.
The 2nd photo is open to some interpretation - square, portrait, or as
you shot it.
I like the grass blades framing the flower.
Without them, I would say it was too open and the flower too small in the frame.
