Other than explaining to the customer what went wrong and why, there wasn't much to do WRT salvaging anything. I mentioned that I would be willing to hire a retoucher (at her expense) to fix a few prints which I would then make copy negs of, but she didn't take me up on it. The studio work was fine, and most of the outdoor work was as well. Mostly it was the church and reception pictures that showed problems, and they aren't as important anyway.
