This is late but maybe you still need advice.
Most disk manufactures allow you to download a disk imaging/cloning
package for use only with their products, and Lo these days, it's
usually a version of Acronis® tweaked to work only* with their
products. I'd check the manufactures web site to see if they have a
tools download.
*Well not entirely, sometimes the software just has the name of the
manufacture on the splash screen and doesn't care what products you have.

So, my new SSD is here, but not installed.
It turns out that the version of Norton Ghost that I have isn't
compatible with Windows7, so I am in the market for new software.
I am somewhat less than brand agnostic in this regard, and so am
looking for other solutions than Norton
Anyway...
I found a thing called Acronis® True Image which looks like it will do
what I want, and even has a free download so I suppose I can see if it
will work before I pay for it.
Are there any other drive ghosting solutions out there that I should
be considering, or does it even matter and I should just buy the
cheapest one?
Thanks
