Not all ticks on deer are "Deer Ticks", If they're big enough to see
from a distance, they're probably not deer ticks.
Don't worry though there are worse diseases spread by ticks than Lyme
disease.

I'm sure you know, but this is a good time to remind people that deer
ticks spread Lyme disease.

LOL Thanks Brian for the humor... As Godfrey stated the more I look at the
tick especially I think I will remove them from the fawn. After I saw the
tick I thought oh my I better look on my person for any ticks. I would spray
repellent on my person and clothing but when I go out for nature captures I
don't wear anything that is scented. You won't believe folks out
walking/hiking and the scent they leave in the air as they go past.
Thanks for everyone's input on this PP question.
Jeffery

I am going through the captures I took this morning in between the rain.
I
do mean in between the rain and I got lucky while out at Radnor Lake
and made it to their visitor center before the rain started and I hung
out there while it passed. Then as I began to walk around the Lake on
my way to where I parked I noticed another batch of dark clouds
rolling in and I hurried on to the car.
Okay now on to my question. I have been looking through my photos and
on one of the fawns I captured today is a tick right between his/her
eyes and a few flies. My question is should I leave them or clone them
out of the photo.
Well - it's not as if you're removing a pimple from the nose of a well known
movie star or politician. The fawn isn't a recognizable individual, so I
don't believe that this is a case of distorting reality.
I wouldn't hesitate in getting rid of them, unless I was illustrating an
article on parasites of wildlife - which isn't likely, and the original file
would still be available if needed.
Cheers
Brian
