Did that a couple of years ago. 1. Everything takes on a blue or blue-green cast at altitude, so shoot RAW.
2. The vibration in a light plane is remarkable, so use a high shutter speed and try to keep your camera-holding hands away from the plane. 3. In addition to dirty Plexiglas windows, there will be lots of reflections. They can be tamed partially with a polarizer. They can be tamed more if you open the window, but it makes things =much= windier and noisier in the cabin. 4. Noise-canceling headphones are your friends. 5. It's cold up there, even if you're only a few thousand feet up. Have fun! I did, even though none of the resulting pix met my standards for posting.
