One might also say, "it's not rocket science", or even "it's not brain surgery". However - take one team of rocket scientists, and one team of brain surgeons - give them a simple office task, such as reducing a tabloid format newspaper to A4 via an office photocopier - light blue touchpaper, then retire to a safe distance.
