I thought I'd mention a couple of books I picked up today for $4.50CDN,.
1. Pentax Photography - Japanese Folk Festivals Illustrated (Circa 1970)
by Hideo Haga, translated by Fanny Hagin Mayer
This is a fascinating book of photos from Asahi Optical Co., LTD's
"Japanese Festival" Prize Photography Contests held between 1967 and 1970.
2. Carl Shipman's "Understanding Photography" (H.P. Books)
I like this book, in fact it has explained some things better than any
'photography' book I've found so far, and I've only skimmed through it on a
45 minute bus trip.
Anyone experience of these?
