Let's see the original Land Rover was built on a Jeep chassis. The last
vehicle that actually looked like a Land Rover was a Toyota Land
Cruser. Rover was sold to Ford, who beyond all expectations actually
improved Rover's quality, but Ford was unable to make a profit on Rover
so they sold it to Tata. So really there's not much about Rover that's
English at all...

Sad day to sell it but I need to pay some tax so hey hum.
Got a Ford Tourneo Connect instead !!
Nothing more English than a Land Rover, is there? Okay, I guess there
are Jags. And Aston Martins. Roundabouts.
Still lovely photo, too bad it has to go.
That little Ford van will more than serve your needs, likely with much
lower operating costs. However I wouldn't want to be in one of them
when a rhino attacks!
;-)
cheers,
