Remember when I was burgled in 2000 and lost most of my Pentax gear, which was mostly bought 2nd hand, I was able to replace it on a new-for-old basis on insurance. The Contax / Zeiss gear I bought was eventually traded in to buy this M8 and 21mm lens. However, it would have been the other person's insurance I 'd have claimed against - wouldn't want to put my premiums up as a result of his clumsiness.
