I missed that set earlier.
Great job! Quite possible some of your best shots.
Thanks, Larry! She makes a great subject if you can catch her.

Thank you, Bulent.
And, FWIW, I'm also partial to my Takumar (Bayonet) 135/2.5 -- which is almost
universally panned in the reviews I've read about it.
I've got one of those. I think the 135/3.5 I had was a bit sharper, and a
touch sweeter, but it's hard to argue with another stop of speed. I hardly use
mine any more though, I always see to grab my 200/2.8 instead.
I've read that the 135/3.5 is a really good lens and that they sell for
a whole lot more than the 2.5. I'd like to shoot with one sometime to
see if I like it better. I do like the extra stop, though I rarely
shoot any wider than 3.5 on it -- it really does have a tendency to
fringe pretty badly. But, around 3.5, it can be really sharp.
Though, the 200/2.8 is probably leagues better, I suspect. I can see
where you might grab that one first-off.
I don't love it quite as much as I do my 50/1.4, but I like shooting with it.
It's definitely got its quirks and shortcomings, but I've taken some of my very
favorite photos with that thing.
I think that a lot of it is using your equipment to the best of it's strengths.
Some people like to complain about the weaknesses of their gear, other people
like to exploit it's strengths.
You may be onto something, there. I do try to look for the best in all
of my gear. And, generally speaking, when a photo I take doesn't come
out well, it's best to just go ahead and assume it's my fault.

Still, though -- that K-50/1.4 is a wonder.
Thanks again!

Lovely girl, beautiful lens.
I was also fond of my Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4.
However, after an informal test comparing it with the FA 50mm, I have
started to question the reasons of my fondness.
Maybe we should not need proofs for a love affair...

Hi all,
My great-niece came by for a little visit today, and I used the opportunity
to get a little more practice time in on the K-50/1.4 (I can't help that I'm
in love with it) on the K-x. I figured I'd share the shots I got and
solicit any comments and/or suggestions anyone may have.

Thanks!
