Hi all,
My great-niece came by for a little visit today, and I used the
opportunity to get a little more practice time in on the K-50/1.4 (I
can't help that I'm in love with it) on the K-x. I figured I'd share the
shots I got and solicit any comments and/or suggestions anyone may have.

Walt, you did brilliantly. One nitpick though - it seems you kept
taking pictures of your lovely great-niece from above. May be you
ought to have a seat so that you could have your camera on the same
level as her eyes.

Thanks, Boris! Glad you liked them.
In my defense on the shots where I'm towering over her, she's a very
active child. It was all I could do to follow her journey across the
back yard. When she was seated, it was usually as a consequence of
having succumbed to gravity and I just happened to plop down quickly
enough and keep her attention long enough to get a shot.
I'm going to take a shot at doing her next birthday photos and see how
they come out. With any luck, I'll be able to get her to actually
cooperate in a shot or two. Wish me luck!
Thanks again,
Walt
