It started when...
I am intrigued with the new Pentax cameras, and am thinking of switching
back.
I need to upgrade anyway. I have a Canon Xsi that I better unload while I
can still get some money for it. Lots of new cameras out, all brands,
since
I last looked.
If you are using a Pentax, which camera are you using?
Appreciate hearing. And appreciate hearing any thoughts/feelings you have
about it.

If you have a Canon, you might mention that too, which camera. But not
enough to be drummed off list. ;-)
Well, no secret since it's been posted here before - K-r, very happy with
it, and love the look on fellow photographers when I use it without flash at
night... few around here get past ISO 6400.
For the record I find the Ds button layout faster for manual AF sensor
selection. In my hands the K-r feels very good, but the Ds gets closer to
perfection. Same for the viewfinder.
Buying a new camera and being able to pay it, I'd go for a K-5. Not cash
enough for the K-5, I'd get the K-r again smiling.
Still have a 500n (film disposable) with 28~80 and 50mm for those moments
when gear damage or loss are likely, and am currently testing one PK>EOS
adapter with AF chip. Would gladly swap the 500n for almost any Pentax SLR,
but can't get a deal in my neighborhood.
